(1)    Mask Options

There are three mask options that you may have as you try to pick out your own mask for your CPAP. These masks are the Full Face Mask, the Nasal Mask and the Nasal Pillow Mask. Among these three, the most popular remains to be the Full Face Mask. It is the most common as well as the most widely preferred by most users. The Full Face Mask offers a greater coverage and with this mask, the escape of air is rare. On the other hand, Nasal Masks and Nasal Pillows are a lot smaller. It is preferred by people who toss and turn in their sleep as these are more compact and are easier to move around in. These are there masks that you can choose from as you try to pick out your unit.

(2)    CPAP and BiPap

There are also two options as to the machine. You can either opt for a CPAP or a BiPap machine. CPAP are more common and are more popular as it is the first. BiPap, on the other hand, are a lot more compact.

(3)    Straps and Strap Guards

Straps are essential in keeping the actual mask in place. You have options when it comes to the straps as it is one of the few parts of the CPAP unit that comes into actual contact with your face. You can choose its texture, kind or make, the length and the tightness. You can also opt for strapguards which make these straps a lot more comfortable.

(4)    Humidifiers

The humidifiers are available in heated and the usual ones. If you have nasal discomfort and feel such irritation when you use your CPAP unit, then, the heated humidifiers are the better option for you.
